One of our friends gave us 6 doilies. One of them ended on a cushion front. The rest stayed in our stash for a few months… until some scrap paper yarn came to us: black and burgundy. Somehow, two doilies and these paper yarns found each other at our desk and begged us to make a bag out of them 🙂 We complied, of course! We simply pulled the paper yarns through the holes of the crochet pattern but we were not satisfied with the degree of quirkiness so we created different faces for this bag. The next step was to knit a proper shoulder strap for the bag that also serves as the volume provider. You can read our blog about this troublesome strap here.
Around that time, we found a fabric scrap: perfect in size and flower print for this bag. So, this was a love triangle after all 😊
