Traditional fabric is from our teenage years when we experimented sewing a coat. It didn’t turn out right but the fabric – called Keshan, traditional fabric of Blacksea region of Turkey – was so beautiful that we carried it along to our golden age and when a close friend (coincidentally, from Blacksea region) gave us a few meters of pullu oya, the traditional hem adornment, she kept for years in her wedding chest we happily transformed our teenage mistake into good results of our adulthood. These two cushions are almost identical.
